Given that they’re all descended from the hunter god Kinygos, Amazons are great hunters. Most of them hunt the wild animals of Amazonia - wild boars, wolves, bears, lions, even the occasional tiger. But a select few Amazons don’t hunt animals - they hunt people. Amazon assassins, just like the tribe’s regular hunters, favour speed and brute force over stealth, and Ganaia is the fastest and most brutal of them all.
In the arena, Ganaia eschews the fancy tricks employed by most other assassins in favour of delivering a succession of grievous axe wounds from which the victim is highly unlikely to ever recover. Every third strike is a devastating critical hit that leaves the recipient with a wound so deep that even the most skilled healer will struggle to mend it. That’s if Ganaia’s target survives the attack in the first place of course which, more often than not, they don’t.
