In his younger days, Adael was just like any other white Knight. He’d wander the land in search of opportunities to perform noble deeds such as slaying dragons, duelling black Knights, and rescuing beautiful young women locked in towers. Adael looks back on that time of his life with fondness, but admits he was a naive fool. His true calling, he now realises, is to devote his body and soul to worshiping the Divine Light. And to fight in the arena, of course.
As it happens, the two sides of Adael’s life go very well together, as the Divine Light seems perfectly happy to shine upon him in the midst of battle, lending a competitive advantage in the arena. The bright white glow of his god heals him and damages nearby foes.
